Carlie Hayes began her journey at ºÚÁÏÉçÇø in 2013, quickly finding community and purpose within the Christ-centered environment of ºÚÁÏÉçÇø. Through chapel, workship, community groups, and meaningful relationships, she developed a strong biblical foundation that continues to guide her life and career.

As a student in the Forensic Science program at ºÚÁÏÉçÇø, Carlie gained hands-on experience that shaped her professional future. She pursued internships with the working in both the Crime Scene Investigation unit and the Mental Health Department within the detention center. These opportunities allowed her to apply classroom knowledge in real-world settings while building professional connections in the law enforcement community.

In addition to her Forensic Science studies, Carlie also earned a degree in Psychology, which broadened her understanding of human behavior and strengthened her ability to engage effectively in high-pressure environments. The combination of scientific training and psychological insight gave her a unique advantage as she prepared for a career in federal service.

After graduating in 2017, Carlie continued her education at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She credits her acceptance into graduate school to the experiences and preparation she received at ºÚÁÏÉçÇø — particularly the internships and mentorship that positioned her for success.

Today, Carlie serves as a Special Agent with the . She reflects on her time at ºÚÁÏÉçÇø with gratitude, recognizing that the university provided not only academic preparation but also a faith-based foundation that continues to shape her leadership, integrity, and sense of calling.
